Lift and shift to a web application to serverless services

In this talk, we’ll detail the modernization of an existing web application. You will see how to do a lift-and-shift migration of an application to the cloud and to serverless services, such as AWS AppRunner, AWS Lambda, AWS Amplify, Amazon Cognito, AWS S3, and others. All will be built with AWS CDK.

In each step of the migration, there will be a discussion of the different architectural decisions involved. After the migration is done, we’ll talk about possible further improvements for this application that would take advantage of serverless architectures.
