Organizations that adopt Kubernetes want to improve productivity, the developer experience, and consistency when deploying applications. Some customers use Kubernetes as a platform, and utilize IaC tooling to provision the AWS managed services needed for the application. Others are looking to standardize Kubernetes as a centralized API to manage both Kubernetes constructs and AWS resources.

In this session, we will explore the different perspectives on application deployment in Kubernetes, and highlight the open source tooling and AWS solutions that enable those perspectives.
